Final session!! Thank you for sending your kids to me! It was a pleasure and a learning experience. This Session THEY lead the activities, they all came up with their own ideas and lead their teammates. It was a pleasure to see how creative and supportive they can be. We celebrated with watermelon at the end (you probably saw it on their shirts), enjoy the summer, see you next year!
Fifth SESSION 5/17
Fifth session almost done. Now it is their time to shine. They started to lead their own activities. We had reverse dodge ball, bear tag , random tag , and more. They found out how hard it is to lead when some don't want ot participate...And we learned how to read a map and compass!
Fourth SESSION 5/3
Fourth session is behind us. This time we talked about what is FAIR and what is NOT FAIR. They had a few competitions where randomly they got an advantage or disatvantage, we had some tears and frustration and a lot of laughter. The first video is 2 minutes, it is worth watching!!
THIRD SESSION 4/12
Third round is always better, we started with the Tank and the Caterpiller (ask your kids what it is ). Then we took an engine apart and saw how it works-WE HAD SPARKS (for real)
SECOND SESSION 4/5
Today we tried to think creatively, finding ways how to walk on lava, and how to build a shelter out of random things. I must admit that they surprised me!
FIRST SESSION 3/29
These kids have so much energy! we played "tug of peace" and tug od war, dragged my minivan, and learned how to tie figure 8 knots.
