You have 7 minutes of nothing during your day.
Right after you wake up , before you go to sleep, in the bathroom (how long do you really sit there?), waiting in line to get your kids from school, waiting for another pointless meeting, the time exists.
The question is what are you going to do with that time?
are you going to answer an email from work?
are you going to clean the house?
are you going to do a quick workout?
are you going to stare at the ceiling (meditate)?are you going to run ?
are you going to clean your inbox?
are you going to shop for a gift for a friend ?
are you going to go through Facebook and mindlessly browse?
are you going to look through pictures of cats on the web?
You have 9 minutes, start the timer on your phone and for those 9 minutes, focus on one task. You don't have to complete it, but focus on it. See where it takes you. If you have a list in your mind of a few tasks that you want/need to do and can do, it'll be easier to just do it- all it takes is 9 minutes, start the timer and focus.
Every marathon starts with a single step. make a lists of steps that you are interested and willing to do and start doing!
